Local chefs from Jackson, Cape and Kelso to create Girl Scout Cookie Desserts to help raise funds for Girl Scouting.
Join us for a fun evening with three local chefs, Ray Ressel of Ray’s in Kelso, Michael Reitman of Chartwells in Cape, and Palmi Henry of Lil Miss Muffin and Stuff in Jackson. They will be creating desserts made with Girl Scout Cookies and competing for your votes during the Just Desserts fundraiser to support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience for girls. The event is sponsored by Southeast Missouri Hospital and will be held on Tuesday, March 15 at the Dempster Hall Atrium on the SEMO campus in Cape Girardeau from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Participants will be able to sample all of the yummy Girl Scout Cookie creations and purchase $1 votes for their favorites. “We are very excited about this event,” states Jennifer M. Orban, CEO for Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland. “It is support from our local communities that allow us to provide high-quality, educational events for girls, safe and secure program properties, and financial assistance to families in need.”
Tickets for the event are $25. For more information or to purchase tickets, please contact Renee Trout at 877-312-4764 x 1418. Tickets will also be available at the door.
