Spring 2010 GO Guide and Volunteer Magazine Distribution
It’s just about time for the spring program and training information to be distributed. Distribution will be a little different this time. In late summer, we incorporated a new membership database which has caused us to be unable to extract a current mailing list. Therefore, the GO! Guide – a publication for girls that contains council-sponsored program information – will be bulk-mailed to all girls who received the FA 2009 GO! Guide publication. We will include as many new registered girls as possible, but we are aware that the list will not be comprehensive. Please allow until January 15 for the bulk mail to be complete. After that date, additional copies should be available at service unit meetings and will be available in service centers. Please note: We will not be able to mail them first class from council service centers. It will also be posted online at www.girlscoutsmoheartland.org by December 1.
The Volunteer Training Guide – a publication that contains council-sponsored training information – will not be mailed, but will be made available at the December and January service unit meetings. So please help spread the word that all leaders should attend their service unit meetings in order to receive the information for spring trainings. A limited supply will be available at each service center, but we will not be able to mail them first class. It will also be available online at www.girlscoutsmoheartland.org by December 1.
Incorporating new systems takes time and we understand the inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your patience as we work to develop better systems for the future.
